Background

Teleplan's Geographical Information System MARIA™ has been acclaimed by Military and Civilian users for almost a decade. The focus on performance and the ability to meet a wide range of functional requirements has resulted in a very popular product with a user community that is constantly expanding. Teleplan TINA™ includes the standard MARIA Desktop for Single Customer (Headquarters) installation and MARIA Web Portal for distributed users, or even both.

About MARIA™

MARIA desktop or MARIA Web Portal has an addin module with advanced tools to present and manage electronic representations (tracks) of real-world mobile units, such as vehicles, ships, aircraft, etc.

The movement of these tracks can be represented in real-time by utilising user specified or standard symbols (APP-6A, NTDS and STANAG4420), or points. The animation of moving tracks is very smooth, and more than 5000 tracks can be simultaneously updated every second.

MARIA has a "multi-tracklist" system enabling the monitoring of input and updates from multiple sources simultaneously, which together with filter and declutter functionality enable management of large numbers of units.

Features such as time/space calculations, track history, route planning and track simulations etc. are also included and ensure that users can easily keep the essential overview at any given time.

All track information that has happened, or is planned for the future, can be saved to file for later replay or de-briefing.

MARIA can be programmed to receive track information from outside sources, such as other databases or appropriate track management systems.

Communication alternatives include:
